We were ready. We had tried on your little pink ballet slippers. We had even lucked out and found some tiny but wider than average shoes in about your size that were Capezio (well made) at Once Upon A Child for $8!!
We had selected the perfect leotard (pink) and perfectly pink baby tights.
We arrived on time. Ruby went first and I waited to change you into your outfit until you had eaten dinner. Then, you colored and played barbies while we waited for Ruby to finish.
It was time! You and 10 other "tiny stars" went into your first ballet class. There is no window so I tried to peak in on you through a crack in the door. No luck.
You came out after class very excited and I asked you "Did you have fun?"
To which you gave your standard "nope".
!!
But you said it with your impish smile so I know you did. :)
