You are well! Little baby, you gave your momma a scare. You are back to your normal self though, talking to your friend the blue frog on your jumperoo.
Last night, Ruby was in a play and we were in a rush to get ready and meet grandma at the pizza place. We didn't notice until later that poor daddy in his rush had filled your bottle with rice cereal instead of formula!
Luckily we had some breastmilk that I had pumped at work earlier in the car and that satisfied you until we got home.
Whew! :)

Scary Weekend
I am hugging you extra tight, little one. You've been sick with a bad cough all weekend and your daddy and I have been fighting it head on with a Xopenex nebulizer every 4hours, around the clock. I took you back to the doctor today and they gave us an antibiotic just in case you have a particularly nasty bug that I don't even want to say the name of, because the name is so scary.
With just three doses though, it should kill the bacteria that causes it, and with your first dose in, you are on your way to a full and happy recovery and back to the bubbly happy baby that you are. (Which is a wonderful thing because the test they they did today is one I do not want to repeat! Ever!!) It took about 10 minutes to calm you back down and you have been asleep since. (Although you are pink and warm and sleeping comfortably- I am checking on you about every 10 minutes)
I'll be happy when you're ALL better.

Lash Out
Sweet Baby Charlotte,
I noticed last week that you have grown beautiful dark brown eyelashes!! They frame your pretty blue eyes.
This morning, Ruby helped me give you a bath and tried to make you feel a little better, because you woke up this morning and you still have a pretty bad cold. You keep coughing and waking yourself up.
Ruby has taken to calling you "My Little Stinker" which I think is hilarious.
You giggled for the first time the other day when we first put you in the jumperoo- you love it, even though most babies are around 6 months when they start using the jumperoo. Your tiny feet don't even touch the floor on the lowest seeting yet, but you just stare are the blue bird and smile, occasionally letting out a sweet baby laugh. I'll get some pictures of you later this week. I never know what to expect from you, little one.
