Um, I lost my Christmas Tree
You are beginning to say discernible sentences!! Some make sense, Some don’t. Yesterday in the car, you said “Um, Daddy, I love you”. Makes sense to me. I dropped you off at daycare this morning and tried to get you to leave your tiger in the car. “No no no” you said. Understood.
Also this morning, you said “Um, I lost my christmas tree”. I’m sure that’s not what you were trying to say, but that’s how it sounded to us, and it made your dad and me both chuckle.
You usually start your sentences with Um, which is something we never noticed Ruby did until you started copying her.
We are getting a kick out of the sentences you say, especially the ones that make no sense what so ever.
The great thing is that this eases some of the frustration that has been building in you. You are able to express what you want . “Milk” “Daddy”, “Mama” “Puppy” “Ditty” (Kitty) and “More” are frequent requests. And even though sometimes we can tell you no, you at least know that you are being understood. Less tears for both of us.
You also love when I peek through something at you and say “I see you!”. You giggle and look through the same thing and say it too. “ I scheeooooo!!”. I LOVE MY BABY CHARLOTTE! So cute.
