You have so many phrases now. You say “night night” to your animals, ask for “warrr” when you want some water, “help please” when you want something, although grandma noted it’s not always something you SHOULD have, sometimes it’s things like dog food or soda that you’re trying to get into. You also tell us when you have a dirty diaper! We’ve gone to Busch Gardens, where you are free, since you’re under 2, and you do pretty well, but are excited to get on the rides, excitedly saying “YAY! Ride!” but then terrified when the ride begins. The look on your face is absolute pure terror. It is sweet and priceless watching you try to be brave but just not sure how to react. You do ok as long as I keep my hand on you.

You are so sweet and precious to me, baby girl! You are crazy about animals, and are learning all theur names and the sounds they make. You like me to ask you what a bee says and then say bzzzzzzz and touch your neck. You still love wearing your fireman hat but will sometimes defer to the Abby Cadabby ears. The other day, you watched.. (drumroll please, this was big)…. Almost an entire episode of theWiggles. It is completely unheard of for you to stand still for even 5 minutes, so this was extraordinary. Not that I want you watching all that much tv anyway, but it is nice to know your attention span is increasing.

You were SO very upset that you weren’t in the ballet clas with Ruby. Next year, baby girl. You can do so many things now, I forget that you aren’t even 2 years old yet!

I love watching you dance, and you love singing songs. You can sing Row row row your boat, the wheels on the bus, Old McDonald (you sing EIEIO) and twinkle twinkle.

Your latest fascination is with your big sister. “Beby!” is a frequent call, and you copy many of things things she does, good and bad. If she says “yay!”, so do you. If she says “NO!” so do you, with a smirk. If she has something, you want one just like it. You want to be whereever she is. When we walk, you hold hands and it is so sweet.
