Sick Bay Again

Dear Sweet Charlotte,

On Friday I got a call while at work from Ms Stephanie that you were feeling warm, refusing to eat breakfast, snack, or lunch, and just not acting like your happy little self.

Grandpa Hatch brought you home and Daddy came home from work to take care of you.  I noticed that night when I got home that you had some ulcers or bumps in your mouth and on your tongue.

So, I took you to the doctor yesterday and they diagnosed you with Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease.  It's a pretty common illness that most kids get between 1 and 5.  It makes it hard for you to eat though, so I regularly dose you up with Ibuprofen and you are eating yogurt, pudding and a few other soft, cold things.  For the most part though, you are refusing to eat anything.  You are drinking plenty though.

One of the cutest things you say is the word "buckle".  You are fascinated with buckles, how they work and open up and lock again.  You say "Ga-cgkow?" for buckle.  It makes me melt every time.
