Dear Charlotte,
We just got back from the beach amd you had a great time. You were unwilling at first to go into the ocean, but after a while, you were happily demanding for my "hann" to hold (both of them!) so you could stand in the shallow water after the waves rolled in.
The pool, on the other hand, you took to, literally, like a fish to water. You would just walk right on over the side, expecting someone to be there when you landed in the water. Eventualy you got used to putting on your little pink vest and would even indicate you wanted help putting it on, saying "on!, on!". You say so many cute phrases like before you jumped into the pool, you'd say "Two.. twoo", pretending to count 1-2-3.
Also, you'd say "Here Go!" when you were getting ready to go somewhere in the car or to another activity.
You weren't really big enough last year to enjoy the beach and spent most of your time at the beach house, sometimes with Grandma Sawyer watching you. This year though, you made your first footsteps in the sand and your first splashes in the pool.
