My favorite things about Charlotte

My favorite things about you:

- The way you light up when you see me picking you up at daycare
- Your big laugh
- Your dimples
- Your fluffy bird hair (We call you Justin Bieber sometimes)
- The way you dance- mainly with the one foot stomp, but lately you've been mixing in some funky new moves!!
- The way you talk total gibberish but look completely serious about it
- All the new words and my delight when I hear you say a new word (foot, shoe, sock, ball, thank you, help please, more please, grandpa, quack quack, moo, baa, cheese, bebe, no, mine)
- The way when you suspect that someone is about to leave the house (for any reason, mind you) you hightail it to the steps so somebody will help you get your coat and shoes.  Even taking out the trash is an event you don't want to miss
- Watching you outside.  Every crack in the sidewalk, puddle, dead bug, shadow and flower is a brand new wondrous delight to you.  The rest of us forget how beautiful the world is, and you remind us.
- How much you LOVE Molly the cat.  Every morning you fuss at the gate until we let you in so you can greet the cat.  She is *not*, may I add, as excited to see you coming, but tolerates your one year old enthusiasm as only a cat can.
- How sweet you are with your little brother, always wanting to squeeze his "peet" (feet)
- The way you say "Shhhhh" whenever you find anything like a paci that belongs to the baby, since that's what we always say to you when he is sleeping, I think you believe his name is "Shhh"!
- Your delight in accomplishing new things.  Lately I've let you start helping me with cooking and your face lights up and have this silly grin. Yesterday I showed you how to microwave the baby's bottle and you'd be surprised how many steps there are that you were able to help with.  You loved it.
